Camp Speers

Camp Speers was kind of fun. I learned a lot. I learned about lentic and lotic water systems. Lentic is when the water is not moving. Lotic is when the water is moving. Also a bog isn't shallow as it appears. It actually deeper, much deeper. I learned about the bog man. He was about 1000 years old when he was discovered in the 60s. I learned that you can make a shelter out of dead sticks that is actually pretty sturdy. Lastly i learned how to use a compass.
