This week in science 3/9/09!!!

This was another interesting week in science. On Monday we read our conclusions from our sperm and egg cell experiment. we were surprised that our punnett squares were wrong. We learned that punnett squares don't show the outcome of the 4 children but the possibility of one being a certain way. We also talked about a dihybrid cross. We started talking about codominance but never finish. The next day we went over codominance in blood type in example AB is co dominant. The Next day we didn't do that much. Half of the class went over the sponge bob sheet wile the other half fixed their blogs and then we switched. It was a wasted day. The next day we had more blog problems for also went over the back of the sponge bob sheet. It think that was all we did that day. On Friday Mr. Finley got us good. he set us up like we were going to do a project with a partner of the opposite sex but he didn't. We started our bug project. We are making a bug based on the chromosomes we were given. we are gong to breed with other bugs and draw the offspring.
